An overview of my 2014

I must say I started 2014 with a really good start that I literally reeled in joy at a mall. LOL. I sent in a CV to my professor in UK late December 2013 and was anticipating for his reply daily. Of all the CVs I have sent, this is the one I was really dying to get. On 1st January, at Citta Mall, he sent me an email calling for an interview, I screamed at the cinema. Hahahahaha. Embarrassing I know. As it is not already embarrassing enough, my sisters always relive that scene, made me want to hide like an ostrich. Hahahahaha.

Fresca Mexican Kitchen & Bar

Hello blogosphere, I am back again to share a cosy cafe which is on the pricier side. This cafe, should I regard it as a cafe, I don't know... So, back to my point, this place is great to just chill out with friends, and is definitely better if you are an alcohol drinker, they have a vast variety for you to choose from, there must be one that suit your taste. But, we were there to chill out in the late afternoon, so we went for things that's under category of PG13. LOLOL.

Jake's Charbroil at Medan Damansara

I did bring up this name Jake's charbroil some time ago, but I didn't get the chance to dine there since it was fully booked. This time we were smart enough to reserve a few days ahead, STILL, we were requested to finish our meal before 8pm because there will be another family coming in for our seat. I am in awe how popular this steakhouse is.

Yeast Bistronomy

Once I put a blogpost up, I am always excited to write more up. Now that I have a little spare time just before my lunch break is over, I am going to put this up real quick.

Logenhaus roast & grill and Crave Oasis Square

Hello peeps!! Sorry for the hiatus! It's been among the longest hiatus I have taken on my blog.
Let's get straight to the point!

Victoria Station

I know how many shifty eyes I should be expecting, we did not plan to dine there at the very first place, but allow me to elaborate on it later on. So yea, you may think that this post is going to be a humdrum one, but I can assure you that this is not exactly the same, because the ones that I usually visited to was Victoria Station- Australia but this is Victoria Station- London. I don't know if it was just a change of menu, or different branches serve different menu or cuisine.

Milk & Butter and The Daily Grind

I realized that whenever I hang out with my friends, we tend to loiter around more than 1 cafe or shop. LOL. What a weird opening.

Mira's wedding

This is soooooooooooooooo overdue that I can't even remember the exact date of it. LOL! I remember a year ago, my pretty classmate Mira has invited me verbally to attend her wedding reception in December. I JUST HAD TO SAY YES, because I love attending wedding, witnessing the love birds vow to live together through thick and thin for the rest of their lives!

Secret of Lousiana

Looking at the name itself, doesn't it sound mysterious and romantic?

Winnie's BIrthday Celebration Part 2

If you read the previous blog over here, you should know that the part 2 is where the real celebration is! When it comes to birthday celebration, it has to be us, the TRIO! lol. What a corny name.

Winnie's birthday celebration part 1

This is seriously a very backlogged blog post, for the record, Winnie's birthday falls on Valentine's day, which is more than a month ago. lol.

Dining at Victoria Station

It was of course, an advance Valentine's day celebration for my dad and mum! We, the lucky kids, were benefited along! Heeeeee..

Grand Shanghai Setia Walk

It was CNY day 2. Restaurants tend to serve only overpriced set dinner that we are not so fond of, so I suggested to pay a visit to this renown place. Lately I have seen many people visiting this place, and I am intrigued by the retro design and layout of this place, I just have to witness with my own eye.

Photo Diary of President's List Award

It was a Wednesday, when I received a phone call from the examination department informing me about this event. I remembered that they said it would be held on the 27th January.

3 little pigs and A big bad wolf

Hello!!! I am back again! I was too occupied with umpteen academic events in my universities (which would be elaborated singly in separate posts) and I had no time to do any other thing at all. Until now...... because.... *drum rolls* I have officially finished the final paper for my degree programme. And now I have some leeways before stepping triumphantly into another stage of my life.

Precious Things

After taking a long break from the Chinese New Year, I am back to blogging world again.

The Royal Flush

Since Chinese New Year is just a couple of days away, I've decided to blog about something oriental.

Precious Things

Hey there, I finally have time to just sit down in front of my computer. Then the thought of blogging came to my mind. I guess it's been a month or so I haven't been blogging? At the mean time, when I finally spared some time to blog, I couldn't seem to upload any photos. Well, what's a blog post without photos? So I shove the thought of blogging away and didn't bother trying until today. LOL. And yes... I do have a lot of backlogged blog posts. So be prepared for consecutive days of blog spamming! Hahahhahaha.

Alright. We shall not digress any further.

This Balmain document holder from my dad.
This was given to me two years ago.
And guess what?
I never really did cherish it. LOL!
I brought it to campus daily.
I even received compliment from an ever-so-stringent lecturer- Dr. P**lav*
Now that it's seen better days,
I still love it despite the scratches.
I am still going to keep it, for many more years to come.

This looks like just another usual snacks for everyone out there.
But for me, it's a full packet of love.
Special thank to Aishah,
who is ever so thoughtful.
She dropped by Starbucks to get herself some coffee as refreshments,
but never did I think that I crossed her mind,
she picked up a little snack for me,
to help me get through a rough day.
I shared it with my sister,
because joy is doubled when it's shared. :)

Luncheon by our talented Chef here- Aishah (again).
I couldn't thank her enough for this amazing day.
We met up at 7 in the morning this day,
just to build animal models for my research.
It was a long and exhausted day.
In spite of that, she still prepared a heartwarming meal.
I think you can tell by the picture itself, the food was heavenly.
Thanks again. For everything. <3

Many thanks to lovely Winnie.
She would never forget to buy me a packet of popcorn whenever she passed by this stall.
It's again, my favourite flavour.
No one knows my taste as well as she does.
I was surprised when she handed this over to me one day upon leaving her house.
This snack always brought happiness to everyone in the house.
of course, it's finished within two days.
Now, that's what you call monster.

Tiramisu chocolate, my all time favourite.
Appreciation goes to Vivienne.
She gifted me these right on time,
when I had enormous tension in my head.
They say chocolate helps releases endorphins,
well, for me,
it's the caring coupled with the chocolate that works wonder.
Thanks for these lovely treats. :)
