Dragon i at Komtar JBCC

Komtar JBCC has got to be one of the best mall in JB, and it has a lot of reminiscence to the malls in the KL, owing to the brands they carry, and also the food chains they have! One of them is Dragon i, which I have been eating all the time in KL and couldn't be bothered to blog about it.

We dined at a rather peculiar time, around 4-ish, so we were feeling funny as in not too hungry but we kinda needed food after a long day of shopping.

To start off, we had two different types of soup.

 Beancurd soup with eggs.
This is the sharkfin-alike soup which is Kathryn's favourite.
This one tastes pretty average,
we could simply get one with better taste at a fraction of its price at any chinese restaurant.

 Sze Chuan style soup.
Dad ordered this thinking it's spicy and soury taste would suit my mum's appetite.
And this was good!

 Fried beancurd cube.
Oopppssss failed photograph.
But these little cubes taste soooooo gooooddddd!!
It is not entirely beancurd, I think it's mixed with some fish paste,
so it is juicy and yet soft,
crunch on the outside but super soft in the inside.
My family is a huge fan!

Pak Choy with friend foo chuk.
Love the gravyyyyyy that came with it.
The foo chuk was very nice too!

 In dire need of vege,
so here is the second dish of vege.
Very tasty too!
French bean was crunchy!
And the diced shrimp was well flavoured.
Great combination!

Last but not least we gave beancurd again!
We sure ate like a vegetarian but we are not!
I like this one tooooo!!
I basically like all things beancurd if they are stir fried nicely.

Of course food taste was up to expectation but as usual, it is rather overpriced. It costs us more than RM150 for only veges and beancurds, so we thought it is slightly not worthy. But of course, the food tasted marvelous!
