D's Birthday Celebration - Part 2
I want to give D the luxury of eating everything he wants on his big day, but I know for sure I will be broke if I bring him to an ordinary Japanese restaurant and watch him order Unagi after Unagi. 😂😂😂
Just undergone facelift about a year ago, this space looks stunning with the perfect balance of modern and traditional. Genji Japanese Restaurant now comes with several sections including a sushi bar, the main restaurant, two teppanyaki counters and six private dining rooms for those who wants extra privacy!
I made our reservation earlier and were given a beautiful window seat.
Unfortunately, there wasn't any beautiful view over the window, but we thoroughly enjoyed the immense sunlight shining through the window!
The absence food photos in the blog is because we were too busy taking videos and have forgotten to snap photos altogether.
But I highly recommend going for their Unagi because it's bottomless!!!
I love Unagi so I was practically stuffing my mouth with Unagi at any time during the buffet session. LOL.
The wide array of sashimi selections was amazing too! D frequented to the sashimi area the most and he would always come back with plates full of fresh and nicely cut sashimis!
As for desserts, my favourite has got to be their red bean soup!
It's thick but not gluey, nicely flavoured and not too sweet!
And because it was D's big day, I arranged a special birthday surprise for D and they gladly did everything without any extra charges! Super kind!
The price for the lunch buffet was RM138nett per person!
