Christmas in Hong Kong 2016 - Day 1

Super excited to be coming back to Hong Kong after one year!
What really excited me was to be able to celebrate Christmas with D abroad with some cold breeze, and basically just relax our mind before we fight for another year ahead!

We could instantly feel the Christmas vibe once we touched down at Hong Kong International Airport with these stunning Christmas decorations and music at the background!

Although we were gutted that the weather wasn't as chilly as we'd expected it to be, nonetheless, we were still super excited to discover HK together!

Getting to our Airbnb was a breeze with the convenience of hotels shuttle bus!
We were also allowed early check-in, which was such a sweet gesture!

After placing all our luggage in our room, we dashed out of the room and started walking around!

But before any exploration commence, we needed to fuel our body!

And... Our amazing food adventure started off with this bowl of absolutely delicious congee at Hung Lee Restaurant
Click on the link above for in-depth review of the restaurant!

Paid Harbour City a visit after our lunch and got blown away by each and every Christmas decoration available in the mall!

One particular favourite of ours was by Fendi!

Before headed back to our hotel for a quick change, we were hungry again! Ha ha!

We were over the moon when we were able to track down the nearest Mak's Noodle while we were exploring Tsim Sha Tsui and gave this BEST Wonton Noodle in Hong Kong a try!

After a quick change of outfit, we headed to The Excelsior Hotel @ Causeway Bay for a sumptuous buffet dinner with D's cousin! 😍😍😍

It was some of the best buffet spread I have ever seen in my entire life!
From salad, to raw seafood, to the eclectic choices of cooked food, we were absolutely spoilt for choices!
We made at least 10 rounds of walking back and forth to the buffet spread and we would always come back with plateful of food!
Read how we created our humongous food baby at Cafe on the 1st @ Excelsior Hotel!

 Outfit of the night:
