Melbourne Day 7- Kettle Black, Shrine of Remembrance, State Library Victoria

Welcome to the final installment of our Melbourne Travelogue.
As per usual, the previous blog posts are linked down below for easy access:
Day 1Day 2Day 3Day 4Day 5 and Day 6!

As it was the last day of our trip, we ought to do the mandatory brunching!
Recommendations from the net and the locals landed us at this stunning cafe, Kettle Black!

A white-victorian style vintage facade juxtaposed with a contemporary glass-house side by side,
the exterior depicted Melbourne's vibe in a picture.

It was a sunny and windy morning.
As much as we both adored the idea of the warmth of the sun caressing our face,
we were not sure if it would be an enjoyable experience sitting outside bearing the brutal cold breeze.

So we opted for indoor seatings, which we did not regret a single bit.

This place screamed Scandinavian!
Minimalistic design with earthy tones adorned with a touch of green and gold,
this place is everything I wish my home would look like.

As it is a popular brunch cafe, this place was filled to the brim.
Be sure to come early or you will have to wait in the queue for your turn!

We went for our usual Chai Latte!

D got a burger which I was sooooo jealous of!

While I stupidly ordered a deconstructed Avocado on toast. -.-

We bought a muffin before we left and it was soooo bomb!!
I'd highly recommend visiting them if you're visiting Melb!

After our delicious brunch, we walked to the Shrine of Remembrance.

Me soaking up the sun!

This place is incredible!
If you wanna learn more about their history, this is the place to go!

We then headed back to the city centre for some shopping!

When it was lunch time, we popped down to Pho Bo Ga Mekong Vietnam located at Swanston St for some Asian cuisine!

If you're a wee bit tired of having Western cuisine every day, check this place out!
It's the best Vietnamese restaurant in Melb CBD!
Not only do they come in the most generous portion, they are really delicious too!

After some more shopping in the CBD, we walked to the State Library Victoria to marvel at its beauty!

We met with the fam for dinner at night before heading back to our airbnb to pack for an early flight the next morning!
